Overview
HubSpot is a trusted platform in the industry that creates landing pages to generate hot leads. With its professional, streamlined templates and ease of use, it is your number-one go-to when creating landing pages for your business.
Dharmesh Shah and Brian Halligan created HubSpot in 2006 as an inbound marketing platform. Today, it offers so much more! As you know, landing pages contribute to the success of your business tenfold and attract the right customers to view your services and products. This review takes an in-depth look at HubSpot’s Landing Page tool.
Features & Functionality
The HubSpot Landing Page tool offers many options for the perfect landing page. A primary header, secondary header, and sidebar provide different tools to manipulate your landing pages and make them perfect. We will break them down:
The Primary Header
The primary header is at the top of the page, where many actions can occur. You can create a new page or language variant, clone or delete your page, and edit your settings. You can edit your page theme by selecting “Theme” or clicking “View” to review your version history and page details.
The header has a “Help” section where you can learn more about the editor and give feedback on your experience.
In the top right corner, you can preview and publish your page when it’s ready to be brought to life.
- You can create a new language variant, access your page settings, create a new page, clone it, and delete it.
- You can undo, redo, and access the “Theme” editor.
- Access your version history and page details.
- Find quick access to this tour, the knowledge base, and a place to give feedback.
Secondary Header
In the Second Header, you can switch between language variants and screen sizes – desktop and mobile, and on the right-hand side of the page, you can access your settings or undo or redo previous actions.
The Side Bar
The sidebar helps you add, enhance, or organize your page content. Select the “Add” icon to browse and add modules, sections, or layouts. Once you find the suitable module, drag and drop the content to the body of your page. You can gain an eagle-eye view of your page structure by leveraging the content’s icon.
Optimize Content
You can optimize the content by choosing the “Optimize” icon to identify opportunities to boost your search rankings. A test icon even allows you to run an A/B or adaptive test to increase your page performance. This way, you have the highest chance of a high rating on Google’s SERP.
The “Navigator” icon lets you switch between pages without leaving the editor. Finally, the body of your editor will enable you to:
- Select the objects you want to edit
- Move elements around
- Resize columns
- Delete whole sections
Design & Templates
Before designing the landing page, HubSpot will ask questions about your industry. It offers you options such as “Marketing & Advertising,” “Consulting,” “Education,” and “Real Estate.” It will then ask about your role within that industry. It offers options such as “Owner,” “Employee,” and “Freelancer.”
After asking you these questions, it leads you to the template page options, where two pages of standard templates are offered if you have chosen the “Free Landing Page” option. The templates are professional and aesthetically pleasing to the eye, and they use many blacks, blues, and reds in their design. There are many more templates available in the “Starter,” “Professional,” and “Enterprise” packages.
Once you choose a template, you can manipulate your landing page within the editor. All you need to do is choose the options offered to you on the primary and secondary header and sidebar to drop text and design your template based on what HubSpot has given you as an option.
Ease of Use
HubSpot’s landing pages are incredibly user-friendly. Every option is simple without complicated terms and has a help guide. Before creating your first landing page, HubSpot provides an in-depth video describing everything needed to operate the landing page and manipulate it to meet your exact needs.
Customer Support
HubSpot “Free” accounts do not have access to HubSpot technical support but rather access to tech support via the HubSpot Community, Academy, and Knowledge Bases. HubSpot “Starter” packages have access to technical support via live chat and email, and “Professional” and “Enterprise” packages have access through phone, live chat, and email.
